I've been wanting to come here for a while now and I was so glad I came here for a special occasion. The decor and ambience was spectacular. The waitstaff was very attentive and ensured that we enjoyed our meal. We got the pita and tzatziki which was amazing and the grilled octopus which was done well. I got the souvlaki which was phenomenal and a great combination of flavors. Very fresh, flavorful, and delicious food. I'm excited to come back again soon.

Great drinks and food, a favorite date spot for my fiancée and I. We've celebrated a few job promotions and holidays here and have always enjoyed it.

Lovvvvvved this spot! It was a long wait without a reservation but totally worth it. It felt intimate but also like one big family eating together. They had a musician and mid meal the waiters all started dancing. We got to join in. The food was really delicious - we shared a bunch of dishes. I got a souvlaki pork platter. It's one of the better greek places we've found in the area. I can't wait to go back and try even more.

Simply excellent. Everything we had was cooked to perfection and SO flavorful. If you're looking for good portion-sized meals, affordable and heaven for your taste buds - THIS IS IT. Our server went above and beyond to make recommendations that fit our taste, and all dishes blew us away. The restaurant has the feel of a big family home which was so refreshing! The octopus I could eat FOREVER. We made a reservation ahead of time just to be sure on a Friday night, but they had outside seating available for walk-ins. 11/10 recommend!

Tucked away in the corner of a strip mall, is a place that feels worlds away. Kipp's Greek Taverna has it all: calm, vibe, stellar service, and great food. Let's unpack this, shall we? First the vibe: it truly is tucked into a corner. Surrounded by plants, mural, and a fantastic outdoor patio. We could not hear any sounds from the parking lot. This patio felt like it was in another world. Great lighting and decor. Excellent seating that's not too close to other tables and does not feel crowded. Really fantastic space. The service was not intrusive, yet really well orchestrated. Our orders were taken in a timely manner. Our water glasses kept full. This is not a quick place to have a meal so don't expect fast food. But do expect food perfectly timed. I have never had octopus this tender and excellent. And I never expected to find that dish in Chapel Hill. Really well done and could not have been more perfect. The souvlaki was delicious. Sides were wonderful. That Greek salad was a beautiful presentation. It appeared like they considered every nuance from plating to flavor. And you could tell that the staff cared about this place. We watched another table as they were brought a dessert that was flamed at the table. And the staff member was smiling as he lit the flame. It seemed like he was enjoying the spectacle as much as the diners. This was an incredibly lucky find as we are not from the area. Well worth choosing. Prices were incredibly fair for the quality and experience this restaurant provided. I will remember this meal for a very long time.

Pretty good meal! I was blown away by the design and decorations of this place. Both the outside and inside are furnished so nicely; it seems like a lovely place to take photos. We came for a midday lunch on a Sunday and sat in a little corner inside. Unfortunately, it took us forever to place our order. Even though we were ready for a good 15 minutes, no one was servicing us. Finally, a waiter did come up and asked if we were being helped, but I said no. I guess the communication between staff was lacking. Anyways, I ordered the moussaka and my friend ordered the souvlakia. The wait for our food was also pretty long, even though they were not too busy that day. The moussaka was really good. It was a mix of ground beef, potatoes, eggplant, and cheese. It was SUPER heavy though. And honestly a little boring. It was very flavorful, but all of the flavors were a lot all at once, so I wish it was less overpowering. I definitely felt a little nauseous afterwords, but the cheesy crust was nice and tasty though. Impressively made! I don't think I'll seek this place out again to try, but it was a good meal nonetheless.

This was an unexpected treat! We went there on someone's recommendation, and had a very very nice meal. Our server was very enthusiastic and chirpy, making the experience more lively and entertaining. There was a live musicians strumming on the strings in the background. And the place was packed, a telling sign of its quality. We ordered a spanakopita, lamb chops, and a shrimp and scallop dish with orzo. Everything tasted amazing. The flavours and seasonings were all on point. I even ordered a cocktail called Violette Skies, and it tasted great too. To end our meal, we got a walnut baklava and a phyllo custard pie thing. The baklava was too sweet. A little more than my liking. And the custard thing was okay, nothing amazing. But overall, it was a delicious meal at a great restaurant with authentic vibes.

Delicious, filling and amazing service! Hidden away in the corner of a strip mall, its easy to miss. However once you get closer you can truly appreciate the quality of this place. They have a ton of outdoor seating, indoor bar seating and many many tables. We had a reservation for a friday night, the table was tight for 6 people close to the entrance. However the food more than made up for it . Our server was super energetic, had amazing suggestions and made us try different things. I got the fruit mocktail, pita platter lamb shank and the baklava. Others got a bunch of different things at the table, safe to say the spanakopita-pie was my absolute favorite. The ambience was just like a greek beach. They had a live singer, and music playing and it was a great night!
